They say that a picture speaks louder than words and I think this picture on styling to suit your proportions says it all…
In our training course, Style with Ease, we will be covering what are body proportions and how to dress to balance top and bottom.
Styling to maximise features and hide flaws
If you look at these photos you will notice how differently the neckline, length of shirt and skirt line affects how the person looks. It is all about knowing your own proportions and working with them.
Too often women think that if they wear something loose it will make them look slimmer. The reality is that often the opposite is true. This is especially so when you are carrying those extra kilos. But changing a neckline and drawing attention away from the troubling areas, is one way to get past this. There are also a load of fabulous tips that will be in the training course.

You deserve to look good. Why not feel amazing and beautiful? You need to know what looks good on you so that when you shop you know what to buy. Every woman deserves to have a wow moment every time they invest in clothing. Don’t you agree?
If you need help working out what your colours are, we can also assist with a colour consultation session. Email me and I will let you know the best way to go about that.
A woman went shopping with a girlfriend. The woman knew about colour styling and also the basics of what looks good on what type of body.
When they entered the shop, the woman who understood styling and colours went up to the shop assistant and asked for assistance to find specific items that would work with her girlfriend’s body type.
Instead of spending hours combing through shelves of clothing, they were able to zone in pretty quickly on the types of clothing they were seeking. Also, they had already had a good look in the wardrobe first. They knew exactly the types of pieces of clothing they were seeking to add.
- Faster shopping.
- Better outcome.
- Savings from not buying things that don’t look good.
- Happier girlfriend!
This is why I love Colour Me Beautiful and personal styling. It reduces stress and helps every woman to know what looks good on her when she is shopping.
