Make Your Own After Sun Spray
It’s Summer and you’ve had a fantastic day at the beach – now your skin is reminding you!
Whether you are sun burnt or just plain hot, this cooling after sun spray will refresh you and sooth your skin, and it’s easy to make.
You will need:
An empty, clean spray bottle
10 – 20 drops of Peppermint essential oil – cooling effect
10 – 20 drops of Lavender essential oil – soothing and healing
100 ml Distilled or filtered water, if you don’t have any use rain water or cooled boiled water.
Optional, but recommended: 1- 2 tbsp Aloe Vera Gel – you can find it in your local pharmacy or medicinal section at the supermarket.
Combine all ingredients and funnel into the bottle, shake and spray directly on to the skin regularly.
It’s also nice to carry in your bag when out and about on a hot day to spray on your face and neck to keep cool.
